On February 2nd, the launch ceremony for the Spring Festival 2024 mass cultural activities in Sichuan province took place in Enyang district, Bazhong.

The event showcased a rich array of performances centered around the theme, featuring dragon and lion dance troupes, along with lively folk performances and a diverse display of intangible cultural heritage, marking the beginning of the 2024 Spring Festival themed cultural and tourism activities.

The exhibition invited 34 dragon dance troupes and 47 lion dance troupes from various parts of the province to deliver performances.

In addition to the dragon and lion dances, there were also dance, singing, and other art performances. Folk groups such as the majestic gong and drum team, waist drum team, silk fan team, and lantern team also participated in the performances.

In order to enrich the spiritual and cultural lives of the masses, stimulate consumption vitality, and drive economic growth, during the 2024 Spring Festival period, the cultural and tourism system of Sichuan will also launch seven major categories and 27 series of more than 1,900 activities, covering cultural arts, mass activities, intangible heritage protection, leisure consumption, ice and snow tourism, and cultural and museum exhibitions.
