The China Sichuan (Bazhong) Livable and Beautiful Rural Development Conference opened on October 16th in Bazhong, Sichuan province, co-hosted by the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang and the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.

The conference aims to promote rural revitalization as a common goal for the whole of society and to contribute wisdom and strength to the development of modern agriculture and the construction of a strong agricultural nation.

In recent years, Bazhong has taken into account its local characteristics and development foundation, seized the opportunity of cooperation with Lishui and Jinhua in Zhejiang province and key cities in old revolutionary base areas across the country, actively learned from the experience of the "Million Projects" in the two regions, and explored and implemented the innovative construction of industrial parks, rural scenic areas, and new communities in rural areas.

At the opening ceremony, a special film about Bazhong's livable and beautiful rural development was shown. The Entrepreneur Association of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang Central Committee signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the People's Government of Bazhong City to make good use of party cooperation and cooperation mechanisms between the eastern and western regions, as well as to integrate resources and forces from all parties, and continuously support the revitalization and development of old revolutionary areas.

He Ping, the secretary of the Bazhong Municipal Party Committee, said that Bazhong City will fully learn from and apply the theoretical achievements of this conference, thoroughly study and use the experience and practices of Zhejiang's "Million Projects," and continue to expand the achievements of the "Three Areas Same Construction" practice, making greater contributions to the comprehensive promotion of rural revitalization and the modernization of agriculture and rural areas in the new era.

During the conference, there were also exhibitions of typical cases of rural revitalization in the "Three Areas Same Construction," exhibitions of Bazhong's unique agricultural products, investment promotions for rural revitalization industries, and thematic exchanges. Experts and scholars in the field of agriculture and rural areas from across the country were invited to share their experiences and contribute their wisdom to the region’s development.
