In order to promote the "green, ecological, organic, and selenium-rich" brand of products in the Qinba mountainous area, a three-day agricultural fair was recently held in Enyang, Bazhong, Sichuan province.

The 5,000-square-meter area, divided into 12 exhibition zones, featured 132 booths and tasting halls, with more than 350 companies showcasing tens of thousands of branded agricultural products.

Exhibition hall showcases local agricultural specialty products

The Bazhong Pavilion, designed with a "scroll" as a creative carrier, created a beautiful picture of Bazhong's green and all-round ecological scene and urban development vitality, showcasing its concept of "two mountains" and depicting the future of urban development.

The Bazhong Pavilion, the pavilions of the five counties (districts) of Bazhong, as well as the Bazhong Economic Development Zone and the Cultural and Tourism New Zone, were orderly arranged and displayed their own unique products.

Inside the 500-square-meter Bazhou Pavilion, guests swarmed the booths of brands like Laoliaojia, and staff members were busy distributing samples of beef products to the crowd.

The booths of brands like Senniujia pickles, kudzu powder of Shuanglin Food Factory, and Chaorentang Chinese Medicine were also popular with visitors lining up to sample the taste of pickles, Sichuan peppercorn, bean sauce, while learning their stories.

The Enyang Pavilion showcased vegetables, fruits, grains and oils, and beef, all high-quality   commodities produced in this mountain region.

"We are very grateful to the local government for providing us with such a platform and hope that our Enyang's special agricultural products can be known by more people," said Li Shi, Ludingji exhibition organizer.

"This agricultural fair sets up a pavilion for each county (district), highlighting the characteristics of each county's agricultural products. It not only allows small farmers to connect with the larger market, helping Bazhong's special agricultural products to 'go out' but also makes it convenient for tourists and residents to locate and purchase them," said Feng Jinguang, deputy director of Bazhong Municipal Agriculture and Rural Bureau.

Businesses employ creative measures to help agricultural products become popular

The Bazhou Pavilion, Enyang Pavilion, and other pavilions have set up independent online live broadcasting sections, such as "Bazhou District Live Broadcasting Room" and "Enyang District Live Broadcasting Room," to promote agricultural products through online platforms.

Exhibitors in each pavilion constantly used various creative marketing methods. Mud sculpture inheritor Li Jifang promoted his stone carving products by demonstrating mud sculpting techniques on site. In less than 10 minutes, the image of an old man came to life on the stone, generating enthusiastic applause from the audience.

In addition, this year's Qinba Agricultural Fair also innovatively established an online "Qinba Mall", using the "Bashibaishi" and Qinba mountainous area's featured products to set up an online exhibition and sales area. Now, just by searching for "Qinba Pastoral" on WeChat, users can easily enter the online platform to make purchases.

"The agricultural products in the seven pavilions are of high quality and low prices. We bought a lot of cured meat and fruit, and we sent them to relatives and friends through JD Logistics on-site, which is very convenient. I hope such exhibitions will be held more often, allowing Bazhong's special products to have more sales channels and allowing us ordinary people to taste more delicious food," said Zhao Xiaofang, a local resident.
