According to customs statistics, from January to February, Bazhong, Sichuan province, achieved a total foreign trade import and export volume of 206 million yuan ($29.89 million), a year-on-year increase of 260.7%. The growth rate was 261.5 and 271.2 percentage points higher than that of the whole country and the province respectively, and the growth rate ranked second in the province.

The export volume increased by 244.9% year-on-year, and the growth rate ranked first in Sichuan.
