With the arrival of autimn, red leaves have spread across Guangwu Mountain in Bazhong city, Southwest China’s Sichuan province. The local government is now recruiting 50 to 100 volunteers across the globe to participate in the red leaves festival.

The mountain boasts a beautiful landscape of red leaves across an area of 680 square kilometers - the largest in Asia.

Dubbed as the “hometown of red leaves in China”, the mountain is hailed as having the most beautiful autumn scenery by internet users, due to its long viewing period, amazing color change, and rare species of trees.

Big names and social media influencers aged 18 to 80 are invited to make creations based on the red leaves of Guangwu Mountain.

Applicants can sign up for the event before 18:00 on Oct 30, only needing to fill in the form and e-mailing it to 283628619@qq.com.

The organizers will confirm applications before Nov 7, and determine the schedule, arrangement and further details.

Every 30 participants will be organized in a group and will enjoy a three-day tour of the area from late October to Nov 20. The transportation and accommodation expenses in Bazhong will be afforded by the local government.

Domestic media agencies will be invited to cover the event. The creative works of participants, such as paintings, calligraphy, photography and videos will be posted on the media agencies’ social media accounts and the event’s official platform.
