As of the end of June, Jiangjiakou Reservoir has completed an investment of 1.31 billion yuan ($196 million) on upgrades, accounting for 37% of the total investment.

The preparatory works such as electricity and access roads have been fully completed. The roads on the site and the temporary production and living facilities during the construction period have been put into use.

The two construction branch tunnels have been connected, the construction of the diversion tunnel has been completed 70% and the construction of the flood discharge tunnel has been completed 33%.
