The Affiliated High School of Xihua Normal University was established in June 2015. It is a municipal demonstration ordinary high school and a municipal sunshine sports demonstration school with a history of more than 40 years. 

The school has been successively awarded the honorary titles of "Bazhong Civilized Unit", "May 4th Red Flag Youth League Committee of Sichuan Province", "School Ethos Demonstration School", "Top Ten Schools on Ordinary High School Education Quality in Bazhong", "Bazhong Sunshine Sports Demonstration School" and "Advanced Grass-roots Party Organization".
