Jin Qian Ban is a kind of folk art that originated in Chengdu and Chongqing more than 300 years ago, and then gradually spread in southwestern provinces such as Yunnan and Guizhou. Performers usually perform with three bamboo boards about 33cm long and 3cm wide, two of which are embedded with copper coins or other metal pieces, so the entertainment is often called a "metal board performance".
