Located in the northern part of Nanjiang county, the Micang Mountain Scenic Area is world-famous for viewing red leaves. It is known as "the longest red carpet in Asia" and "the hometown of red leaves in China". 

The forest coverage rate of the scenic area is 97.3%, and there are dozens of species of animals and plants under national first and second level protection, a veritable "Qinba Mountain Biological Gene Bank". 

The scenic area boasts boutique attractions such as Jiaguo Mountain, Natural Gallery, Black Bear Valley, Xianglu Mountain, Langou Bridge, and Muyang Ancient City, etc.
