The China Cultural and Natural Heritage Day theme activities and Sanjiang water town tourism festival opened in Sanjiang Town, Bazhong City, Sichuan Province on June 6, 2019.

The event aims to protect and inherit excellent traditional cultural heritages, boost in-depth integration of culture and tourism, and promote rural revitalization. 

Over 6,000 people are participating in various intangible cultural heritage activities, including performances, photo exhibitions, product exhibitions, dragon boat races, and project promotions, which presented them with overwhelming audiovisual experiences. 

2019 is the first year of the integration of culture and tourism, which is expected to drive the development of Bazhong City. 

Districts and counties of the city are taking advantage of this opportunity to publicize their cultural tourism projects during the event, which include intangible heritage tourism routes, experience bases, intangible cultural heritage projects, AAAA-level scenic spots, characteristic scenic spots, folk customs, boutique routes, tourist products, and famous snacks.

The event is sponsored by the local cultural and tourism governmental departments.
